At Tuklas, our researchers and collaborators assist those conducting research by providing methodology guidance and technical support. Drawing on established methods in statistics, data science, and the social sciences, our team assists with tasks ranging from designing surveys and experiments to cleaning datasets, performing statistical modeling, validating research instruments, and preparing ethical research protocols.

Note — In addition to these core services, we also support more advanced research methods when specialized computational analyses are required, depending on the needs of the research project.

We apply rigorous statistical methods to analyze quantitative data and generate reliable insights. Our team assists with selecting appropriate models, testing hypotheses, estimating relationships between variables, and interpreting results. Using tools such as regression, causal inference techniques, and advanced statistical modeling, we help students, researchers, and organizations transform raw data into conclusions.

We design high-quality survey instruments that produce reliable and valid data by addressing satisficing, non-attitudes, and other biases. Our services include questionnaire development, sampling strategy, question wording, and index construction (including literature review). We also develop web-based, dynamic surveys (with games and/or randomization) commonly used in social sciences. By grounding survey design in established social science methodology, we help ensure that collected data accurately reflects the attitudes, behaviors, or characteristics being studied.

We help researchers design studies that enable credible causal inference. Our team supports the development of survey experiment, natural experiments, difference-in-differences frameworks, regression discontinuity designs, and other quasi-experimental approaches. We guide projects from conceptualization through implementation to ensure methodological rigor.

We identify, collect, and analyze existing datasets from government agencies, international organizations, and research repositories. Our team evaluates data quality, harmonizes datasets when necessary, and conducts analyses that generate new insights from previously collected data. This approach allows students, researchers, and organizations to leverage high-quality information without the cost of primary data collection.

We assess and strengthen the reliability and validity of research instruments such as surveys, tests, and measurement scales. Our services include reliability testing, factor analysis, construct validation, and pilot study analysis. These methods ensure that research instruments accurately measure the intended concepts.

We organize, clean, and structure raw datasets so they are ready for analysis. Our services include data cleaning, dataset merging, variable construction, and the development of reproducible workflows. We also produce clear and compelling visualizations—such as charts, dashboards, and graphical summaries—that make complex findings accessible to researchers, decision-makers, and the public.

We provide guidance on ethical standards for research involving human participants. Our team assists with ethical protocol preparation, informed consent procedures, risk assessment, and compliance with institutional and international research ethics frameworks. This ensures that studies uphold the highest standards of participant protection, transparency, and responsible research practice.

Yes! However, we hold that analyses ought to be evaluated based on their precision, accuracy, and replicability, and not the people or authority who conduct them. No additional fees will apply.

If you require certain qualifications (e.g., PhD), we are able to provide certificates with them through our affiliated experts, who are experts in econometrics, statistics, and social sciences. Our affiliated experts are from the leading universities in the Philippines and the United States, with credentials such as PhD (University of the Philippines Diliman) and MPP (Harvard University). Additional fees may apply.

Yes! Although our core practices are in social and behavioral research, we have affiliated analysts capable of providing support across STEM.

The TAT for Statistical Modeling & Data Analysis is typically 1–3 days (incl. weekends). However, TAT largely depends on the complexity of the project.
